Campaign Overview
The Cape Cod Conservatory of Music and Arts (CCCMA) and the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra (CCSO) have launched "Unite4Excellence", a capital fundraising campaign aimed at merging our two non profit organizations in order to expand music and arts education on Cape Cod.
A Shared Vision for the Cape Cod Community
Both the CCCMA and the CCSO are dedicated to creating educational programs and opportunities to learn about music and the arts and have been doing so for a combined 100 years. We both share the vision of creativity and innovation. By combining our resources, we will increase operational efficiencies that will result in a greater investment in music and arts programs for students of all ages in two vital areas: outreach and personal instruction. This is a great opportunity for Cape Cod.
The Challenge
Three local foundations - the Cape Cod Foundation, the Bilezikian Family Foundation, and the Edward Bangs Kelley and Elza Kelley Foundation - have endorsed our proposed merger with a challenge grant totaling $100,000 and we have the backing of an excellent team of campaign chairs and co-chairs. The remaining $200,000 needed to fund the merger must come from individual donors like you.
The Time is Now
Public schools on Cape Cod are currently decreasing their budgets for music and arts programs. A unified CCCMA and the CCSO will help to fill this gap, but we can’t do it without your support. To complete the merger by the target date of August 31, 2010, we need to raise the additional $200,000 by June 30, 2010 so time is of the essence.
How You Can Help
Music enriches the life of an individual and the community as a whole. Exploring music and the arts is a fun-filled journey and the returns are rich and long-lasting. Share the passion we feel for music and the arts. Give a gift to "Unite4Excellence”. |
